Sing it Happy! Seniors

This is a service for residential care homes and day services.

Session’s will run for 1 hour and will include;

• Fun and engaging singing and musical activities
• Learning popular songs.

 Singing is a powerful way to transform the life of a resident living with dementia. Studies have shown that not only does it help with memory recall, but it also improves their general wellbeing. Singing is an enjoyable social activity, which lifts the sense of isolation felt by many.

Singing helps to restore personal identify and long-forgotten memories through singing songs from their past.

The benefits of these sessions include;

• People are more energised and moods generally improved.
• Improves communication skills.
• Breathing exercises improve stamina.
• Gentle physical warm ups to keep that circulation going.

All session are planned for individual homes and services.
